- The work includes upgrades to the inlet/outlet piping at three existing raw water storage ponds, in Fort Nelson, BC. The work is comprised of:
Removal and disposal of existing pipe sections and fittings located at the submerged inlets/outlets atPond Nos. 1, 2, and 3;Supply and installation of stainless steel pipe, check valves, fittings, supports, and related appurtenancesto replace the inlets/outlets at Pond Nos. 1, 2, and 3;Installation of Owner-supplied intake screens on the pond outlets at Pond Nos. 1, 2, and 3;Installation of HDPE air piping between each screen and the pond banks; andUse of certified underwater divers to complete the piping removal and installation work.
