- Rafferty Dam is an embankment dam, located on the Souris River approximately 7 km northwest of the City of Estevan. The dam features a compacted granular earth fill embankment, concrete spillway, low level outlet works, subsurface drainage system, and a surface drainage system. WSA is concerned that the soil conditions are deteriorating in condition and therefore requires the services from a qualified professional Contractor for the preliminary rehabilitation of the sinkholes at Rafferty dam.
