This Notice of Intent (NOI) is issued by The City of Calgary (“The City”) of its intent to enter into a contract with Ahearn & Soper Inc. to continue operational support of Fleet & Inventory, Warehouse & Inventory-s transactional databases and applications with existing RF devices for warehouse enabling service. The length of this contract is expected to be three (3)-year term with option to renew one term up to 6 years.Scope of ProjectSince 1998, Ahearn & Soper has been providing advanced barcode system hardware including RF Devices, label printers, RF parts and accessories, and RF custom enhancements to software, as well as software maintenance and service annually.This third party service is critical in running W&I operations to support customers in getting the materials and parts needed.There is a need to support RF servers and hardware to allow for accurate exchange of data between the RF SQL server database and handheld RF devices as well as Peoplesoft 9.2 and Fleet Focus (M5) business application systems.• Ongoing purchase of new products (handheld RF Devices that are compatible with existing Ahearn & Soper RF devices).• Replacement parts and accessories (batteries and printers for the existing Ahearn & Soper Inc equipment.• System software enhancements and customization as required.• Troubleshooting support for the software system.Notice of Intent document for further information and details can be found at SAP Ariba at the link below:https://discovery.ariba.com/rfx/1...
