- The intent of this contract is to provide wheel front end loaders with operator(s) and backhoes with operator(s), on an hourly basis, for bus stop snow clearing, Cul-De- Sac/Dead End snow clearing and snow clearing/removal operations where snowbanks restrict sightlines, travel widths, pedestrian and cycling traffic or to relieve trapped water on the roadway or sidewalk. In addition to snow clearing, the wheel front-end loaders with operator(s) and backhoes with operator(s) may also be required to scrape ice and hard packed snow from these surfaces as directed by the Roads Services Area Manager or designate.
