Description:
The Town of Wasaga Beach is soliciting tenders from qualified contractors for the tree and brushclearing of approximately 24,400 square metres in preparation for constructing a flood mitigationchannel, noted as Part A, works in this Tender.The Town is also interested in potentially clearing trees and brush from all or a portion of the futurePublic Works Depot and water tower site, a total area of approximately 49,000 square metres, notedas Part B (Provisional) works in this Tender. Pending the received item costs, the Town may proceedwith tree clearing for the entirety of Part B, or a portion of the area through Joan Avenue right-of-wayand at the north end of the block to facilitate construction of the stormwater management pond andwater tower only.The tendered work generally consists of:a) Installation of erosion and sediment control measures;b) Clearing of existing trees and brush within the limits of construction.
