- Description:
- This RFQ is for a complete network cabling upgrade of the Public Works building at 12 MacAleer Drive. The building has a main level, second floor offices and mezzanines. There are approximately 86 Data jacks to be added. The proposed solution will upgrade existing cabling to a CAT 6 or greaterfunctionality, create a second communications room in the buildings east-end, and a fibre backbone to connect the two communications rooms. Cable runs for 10 wireless access points will be needed. A drawing of the building and a list of expected data jack locations and AP locations will be provided,but locations may change on discovery. Proponents will be required to attend a mandatory site visit on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, starting at 10 am (AST) at 12 MacAleer Drive to familiarize themselves with the layout of the building and the existinginfrastructure.
