Public Works Department Security and Accessibility Upgrades-1155 Pacific Avenue

Description : D2. SCOPE OF WORK D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of security and accessibility upgrades at Public Works Department, located on 1155 Pacific Avenue. D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Removal and disposal of existing front reception desk millwork, carpet, ceramic tile, wall base, angled half wall, floor pedestals and wall light sconces. (b) Removal, salvage and re-install existing sanitizer dispensers, fire plan acrylic frames, pamphlet racks, tack boards, door stops and fire extinguishers. (c) Supply and installation of new flooring, plywood wood blocking infills, stainless steel corner guards, clear tempered glass window unit, front reception counter protective plexiglass/frames and card access system. (d) Construction of new custom millwork for reception desk and ADO access millwork gate in conformance with the City of Winnipeg 2015 Accessibility Design Guidelines and Standards. (e) Supply and installation of new millwork hardware as specified herein and on Drawing A3.0. (f) Supply and installation of new reception desk equipment as specified herein and on Drawing A2.1. (g) Construction of new office and meeting room. (h) Supply and installation of automatic doors operators.
