Description:
Newfoundland & Labrador Health Services (NLHS) is administering this RFI, in coordination with Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Health and Community Services (DHCS), to gather information to plan a fair and cost-effective solicitation process, define the requirements for the solicitation documents, identify whether there are interested suppliers for the provision of provision of a Public Health Information System (PHIS), and a Vaccine Inventory Management Solution to complement the Epic applications suite it is planning to implement. This will be in accordance with the specifications and requirements set out in this RFI, as well as the Public Procurement Act. An evaluation of responses will not be a part of the RFI process however, the information gathered will help plan a fair and cost-effective solicitation process, define the requirements for the solicitation documents, or identify whether there are interested suppliers. It is not designed to solicit bids or proposals; therefore, it is not intended to, nor does it lead directly to a contract. A response to this RFI does not pre-qualify a potential contractor on any subsequent opportunity.The NLHS and DHCS are not under any obligation to advise any respondent to the RFI of the issuance of any subsequent bidding documents and it is incumbent on all suppliers monitoring the electronic notification system to find out about the posting of any subsequent bidding documents.
