Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver ("City") of its intent to contract with Vancouver Urbanarium Society for Support in Advancing Public Dialogue, including Graphic Facilitation Services, for the Provision of expertise and support for the development of the Vancouver Plan.
The City intends to partner with Vancouver Urbanarium Society to provide the online supports/convening, bringing the expertise of the design community to support the translation of community ideas for inclusion into the Vancouver Plan. The partnership includes but Is not limited to:
· Support in co-convening a series of panels to explore challenges in delivering on our 10 Provisional Goals, including utilization of Urbanarium's virtual Studio.
· Urbanarium leading events outside of, but relevant to, the Vancouver Plan that will gather diverse groups of city-builders to discuss jurisdictional differences and steps toward social resilience in their plans, among other topics;
· Planning 101 Support for improved Civic Literacy: Working with City Hive, develop tools to build civic literacy and connect K-grade 12ers with visually accessible, clear, and engaging material to increase meaningful civic engagement.
