- TransGas (TGL) intends to expand the Prud-Homme Storage Facility in section 12-038-28 W2M east of the City of Saskatoon. The primary purpose of the expansion is to: supply gas to the SaskPower Aspen Power Plant increase storage injection & withdrawal rates from 7 existing storage caverns improve gas supply for the City of Saskatoon, surrounding towns and municipalities, and provide incremental supply for future customer growth The expanded facility ‘C- and ‘D- Plant will be constructed adjacent to the existing ‘A- and ‘B- Plants on the expanded civil pad previously constructed by others.
