Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Public Service Delivery, Capital Project Planning and Delivery ("CPPD") ("Owner") to prospective general contractors to submit proposals for MLB interior renovations and modernization of four (4) elevators as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work"). The work is being done in Manitoba Legislature Building at 450 Broadway in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Work site location will be occupied during construction.Preferences: In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, this tender is only available to Canadian proponents who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. If no compliant submissions are received from Canadian proponents, Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion. Submissions which propose the use of subcontractors based in the United States will be automatically disqualified. Manitoba and the Contractor acknowledge and agree that, upon contract award, the Contractor shall collaborate with Manitoba to identify and procure an alternative product in cases where a U.S.-manufactured product has been proposed.
