Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Projects Planning and Delivery ("CPPD") to prospective contractors to submit proposals for Fire Alarm Control Panel Replacement as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work").Preferences: In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, this tender is only available to Canadian proponents who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. If no compliant submissions are received from Canadian proponents, Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion. Submissions which propose the use of subcontractors based in the United States will be automatically disqualified. Manitoba and the Contractor acknowledge and agree that, upon contract award, the Contractor shall collaborate with Manitoba to identify and procure an alternative product in cases where a U.S.-manufactured product has been proposed. The alternative product shall be sourced from Canada or a non-U.S. jurisdiction and must be equivalent in quality and performance to the originally specified product. Any cost variances shall be substantiated with supporting documentation, including invoices and receipts.CPPD is administering this RFP process.
