Project Description : Public Lands Disposition Management (PLDM) administers dispositions of Crown land to tens of thousands of Albertans to the requirements of the Public Lands Act.An important element of PLDM-s regulatory responsibilities is making information available to the public, via:• providing requested information on file to disposition holders per s.166 of the Public Lands Act;• responding on requests made under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act;• scanning files for digital storage; • printing and mailing notifications to disposition holders as part of routine and special mailings.PLDM is pursuing external support to refocus internal resources on specialized work. It is the first year this support has been sought; available information on probable demand for services (e.g., a minimum number of pages) is incomplete.
