Description:
On behalf of the Region of Peel-s Long Term Care Homes (LTC Homes), the Regional Municipality of Peel (the “Agency”) requires one qualified Vendor with experience in working in a long term care environment and with experience in a range of point of care laboratory services including, but not limited to: routine and specialized tests, specimen collection, ECG and Holter monitoring, online resident results, and notifications and alerts for the provision of on-site mobile laboratory and phlebotomy services for individuals residing at the LTC Homes (LTC Resident) on an ‘as required basis-.
The bid document will be posted https://peelregion.bidsandtenders.ca when available. This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement(CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
The Bidder must be:• licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Health under the Laboratory and Specimen Collection Centre Licensing Act to provide laboratory and specimen collection services in Ontario. This includes mobile laboratory and phlebotomy services delivered to long-term care homes. The Top Scoring Bidder must maintain Laboratory license in good standing throughout the duration of the Contract; and,• registered with the Province of Ontario and should be able to upload documentation into Ontario Laboratories Information System (OLIS).
The Bidder must confirm the above [ licensing status under the Laboratory and Specimen Collection Centre Licensing Act, and ability to upload into Ontario Laboratories Information System (OLIS) ] in the applicable areas of the Online Bidding System forms to be given any consideration for award.
