Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Public Service Delivery, Capital Project Planning and Delivery ("CPPD") on behalf of the Owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation ("Owner") to prospective contractors to submit proposals for provision of make-up air unit replacement services as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work").The work is being done in a one storey motel-style residential building.Preferences:(a) In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, this tender is only available to Canadian proponents who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. If no compliant submissions are received from Canadian proponents, Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion.(b) Submissions which propose the use of subcontractors based in the United States will be automatically disqualified.(c) Manitoba and the Contractor acknowledge and agree that, upon contract award, the Contractor shall collaborate with Manitoba to identify and procure an alternative product in cases where a U.S.- manufactured product has been proposed. The alternative product shall be sourced from Canada or a non-U.S. jurisdiction and must be equivalent in quality and performance to the originally specified product.
