Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Public Service Delivery, Capital Projects Planning and Delivery ("CPPD") to prospectivecontractors to submit proposals for Fire Pump Upgrades as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work").The work is being done in the men's Headingly Correctional Centre located at 6030 Portage Avenue, Headingly, MB. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of a new electric fire pump serving the indoorsprinkler systems, and the installation of a new diesel fire pump serving the outdoor hydrants. Work site location will be occupied during construction, with some of the work taking place within the secure area.Preferences:(a) In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, this tender is only available to Canadian proponents who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. If no compliant submissions arereceived from Canadian proponents, Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion.(b) Submissions which propose the use of subcontractors based in the United States will be automatically disqualified.(c) Manitoba and the Contractor acknowledge and agree that, upon contract award, the Contractor shall collaborate with Manitoba to identify and procure an alternative product in cases where a U.S.-manufactured...
