Description : This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Provision of Computed Tomography (CT) to the Regional Health Authorities of Manitoba as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B - Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D). The clinical requirements for the scanners are outlined within this proposal. Proponents should propose CT scanners suitable to the clinical requirements identified based on all acuity levels within their product line. The intent is to evaluate based on Medium Acuity systems however all computed tomography systems within the successful Proponents product line will be awarded. It is requested to include a mid-lifecycle technology upgrade of the CT scanners to be implemented around year 5 following installation (or as mutually agreed).
