Summary Details:
The Province is seeking an experienced engineering consulting firm to develop a framework for a future province-wide flood risk assessment. This assessment will provide a more consistent provincial picture of flood risk, highlight regions and communities of highest concern and inform regional investment prioritization and awareness. This project is to develop the framework only, and the available funding for this project is $60,000.00 (exclusive of any applicable taxes chargeable to the Province).
The proposed framework must utilize and adapt the 2019 "Strategic Climate Risk Assessment Framework for British Columbia" (SCRAF) for the specific use of assessing flood risks. The framework should establish an approach for the Province to guide the future contractors to conduct province-wide flood risk assessment.
