Description:
Notice is hereby given by the Metro Vancouver (“the Corporation”) of its intent to contract for five (5) years with ENKON Information Systems for PIIMS (Properties Interest Information Management System) Maintenance and Licenses. This contract will have a total value $189,409.80 CAD.
The services are expected to include:
Annual Maintenance User licenses
Integral-LIS Licenses
The Corporation did not call for competitive bids for the following reasons:
The Corporation has been using the software since 2021 and the software fits our needs. Only a short time ago in 2021, the Corporation undertook a large project to replace our old system with PIIMS.This system is used as a record and database management tool for approx. 1500 MV-owned properties, approx. 6000+ active Corporation-tenure agreements, other property information and work requests. It would be a large undertaking to procure new software and customize information, and it would be costly for the Corporation to procure new software due to the implementation costs and time needed from staff.
The system includes a Work Request portal for internal Client departments to use to make requests to Real Estates Services staff. The Work Request portal is accessible via the Corporation-s Intranet and the Corporation-s Maps.The system is being integrated with Metrolytics for enhanced reporting, metrics & analytics, and dashboards; to align with strategic planning.
