- Through this RFB, the Ministry is seeking a qualified vendor for the provision of a Facial Comparison Application (the “Solution”), to support the Ontario Provincial Police-s (OPP-s) to be utilized by the Ministry on an as-and-when required basis throughout the Term of the Contract. Scope of Work The OPP-s Forensic Identification Section (FIS) and Forensic Identification Support Services (FISS) currently conducts manual searches via the OPP-s existing NICHE Records Management System (RMS), and is seeking a Solution that involves searching images using a “one-to-many” method which shall include the comparison of captured mugshot image of a person against stored mugshot images within the OPP-s existing NICHE RMS. The OPP has an estimated 540,000 mugshot images available through NICHE RMS.
