Description:
MNR-s Petroleum Operations Section is seeking information if industry experts are available to provide expert reviews of reports related to special projects applications for carbon storage in geological formations. This is not a tendering process as the ministry is only looking to establish a list of individuals or groups of experts at this time. Scope of Work Special projects applications for testing geological carbon storage in Ontario require extensive reviews with focus on specifics related to this new technology. Processing of these applications requires expert reviews before approvals can be granted under the Oil, Gas and Salt Resources Act and Special Projects Ontario Regulation 425/23. Information about potential experts is needed as soon as possible to ensure efficient processing of project applications.
