Description:
RFI for the purpose of gathering information about the marketplace for pre-assembled naloxone kits, as well as the naloxone drug, to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements. Scope of Work The Ministry requires naloxone and naloxone kits for distribution through the Ontario Naloxone Program. Two doses of naloxone (nasal spray naloxone 4mg/0.1ml or ampoules of Naloxone Hydrochloride Injection 0.4mg/ml) must included in each naloxone kit. The vendor must provide nasal spray naloxone and injectable naloxone ampoules that are Health Canada approved with an “emergency use” indication and identified on the Drug Product Database as “Ethical” (i.e., not prescription), The Vendor must have the minimum capacity to assemble and deliver 27,700 nasal spray naloxone kits and 7,200 injectable naloxone kits per month, and ship when ordered on an as-needed basis upon request by Purchase Order. The Vendor must have the minimum capacity to procure or manufacture and deliver 5,000 nasal spray doses and 30 injectable doses per month, and ship when ordered on an as-needed basis upon request by Purchase Order. Kits must be assembled according to Ministry specifications. Naloxone and naloxone kits must be delivered to the Ontario Government Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply Service (OGPMSS) at 99 Adesso Drive, Concord ON L4K 3C7.
