Description:
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) is soliciting proposals from qualified environmental engineering firms to provide geotechnical services, landfill engineering, detailed designs and obtain regulatory approvals for the final closure works at the Hawkesbury Waterfront Landfill Site, located on the Ottawa River in Hawkesbury, Ontario. Scope of Work The Vendor shall develop and provide detailed, complete, constructable, and regulatory compliant ‘Issued for Construction- drawings, along with and/or including all necessary or applicable engineering technical specifications, figures, and cross-sections for: (i) the closure of the site, and, if applicable, (ii) post-closure of the site (the “IFC Drawings”) for the final closure Hawkesbury Waterfront Landfill Site. The Vendor shall also develop a preliminary construction cost and time estimate for the chosen Closure Plan option and on behalf of the Ministry apply for and obtain all regulatory and other permits and approvals.
