Description : Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) is issuing a Request for Bid to procure sands bagging equipment and a suitable trailer (for transportation) is to better protect Northern Ontarians during Floods. The sand bagging equipment must have at least 4 chutes, easy to operate, (no special skill or training required), ease in deployment, safe to use, and easily transportable. The equipment must be deployable in hours and ease in emptying and removal. It should have the capacity to fill up to 1200 bags/hour and have a motorized chute. The trailer must be able to accommodate the Sandbagger, carry a weight of up to 2000 lbs, must have solid bar tie-downs, have a winch to pull sandbagger onto trailer and “tilt” feature so that the sandbagger can be easily unloaded. It must also come with a spare tire. Scope of Work The vendor(s) is expected to be able to deliver products to specific locations in Ontario.
