Description : The Vendor will reinforce and expand the number of inward investment relationships with producers, production executives and others in Los Angeles and promote Toronto and Ontario on a full-time basis as an outstanding film and television production destination. The vendor will promote the diversity of locations, skilled workforce, comprehensive infrastructure and the value proposition of Ontario-s production, animation post-production and visual effects companies. Scope of Work Ontario Creates is seeking a Business Development Officer to continue inward investment efforts in Los Angeles, from September 2023 - September 2026 The Toronto/Ontario Los Angeles Film Office will make a significant contribution to Ontario-s screen-based activity levels. The Vendor has a dual purpose: a. Keep Toronto/Ontario a “top-of-mind” jurisdiction for screen-based content producers and ensure Los Angeles decision makers know the advantages of Ontario-s Film and Television ecosystem. b. Identify investment leads and activate relationships between Ontario producers, vendors, suppliers and creative talent with decision makers in Los Angeles.
