Description : RFB for the provision of the supply, delivery, and installation of an Automated Microscopy and Imaging System to support forest health research and monitoring projects for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Scope of Work An Automated Microscopy and Imaging System is required for various forest health projects, including plant disease diagnostics, plant pathogen and insect identification, plant tissue visualization, and generating images for publications. Organisms visualized for identification include insects, fungi, bacteria, nematodes, mites, and plant parts. The System consists of two stereo microscopes, one compound microscope, three desktop computers, three digital cameras, and related software and accessories. Applications sought include, but are not limited to, automated stage, systematic image capture, high resolution imaging, image stacking and stitching, image measurement, and a wide magnification range. The System must be on site at 1235 Queen Street East, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario P6A 2E5, Canada by June 30th, 2023. It must be installed within 30 days of delivery, and user training should be conducted on site within the same time frame.
