Description : Upper Canada Village operates and maintains a miniature train on narrow-gauge tracks as a people mover between several of its attractions. The track is approximately 1.5km in length and operates on a gauge similar to that used in mining applications. Upper Canada Village is seeking a knowledgeable company familiar with this type of work to perform repairs work on and around the tracks that will allow the train to operate safely. This work includes destressing tracks, supplying and installing expansion joints, replacing identified ties and spikes, adding appropriate ballast, and adjusting rail line to proper gauge tolerance. The work is intended to address both immediate issues with train operation and remedy some longer-term issues with track design. Optional Site meeting: June 7, 2023, at 10:00 am
