Description : HCCSS is the business name for the LHINs composed of 14 not-for-profit Crown Corporations subject to the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006. Ontario Health (OH) has been delegated to conduct procurements pertaining to medical equipment and related services for HCCSS. Through this RFB, Ontario Health and HCCSS are seeking suppliers of basic medical equipment to be provided on a short-term rental basis to patients for use in the home. HCCSS durable medical equipment is required across the following categories to support patients receiving care at home (including patients discharged from hospital and ones receiving ongoing homecare): 1. Beds (beds, mattresses, etc.) 2. Mobility aids (walkers, wheelchairs, rollators, etc.) 3. Bath aids (commodes, bath seats, etc.) 4. Lifts, slings and transfer devices 5. Therapeutic surfaces 6. Treatment modalities (exercise peddlers, oximeters, muscle stimulators)
