Description : RFB for the provision of a Vendor to analyze existing real estate information across Ontario and propose a series of average, minimum, and maximum market rent per square metre for spaces suitable for child care centres in different zones across the province. The Vendor will also propose the suitable number of market zones needed to capture the variation in rents across the province but maintaining a reasonable total number of zones across the province. For each of the market zones, the Vendor will provide detailed geographic boundaries of the proposed market zones. Scope of Work The Vendor will conduct a research study that will analyze existing real estate information across Ontario and develop a series of market rent benchmarks for the provision of child care for the Ministry of Education, Early Years and Child Care Division. To support implementation of the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC), the Ministry of Education is developing a new cost-based child care funding formula to allocate child care funding, including funding to support the CWELCC system, by providing Service System Managers with grants for the various components of the provision of child care services.
