    Description : RFQ for the provision of proprietary geophysical data in support of bedrock mapping projects by the Ontario Geological Survey, Ministry of Mines, and for use by the public once data is re-processed and published. Scope of Work Geophysics is an integral part and core function of the Ontario Geological Survey-s geoscience activities as it provides basic information used by the mineral industry to select areas for mineral exploration, at a regional scale, in areas of poor bedrock exposure. The OGS purchases proprietary airborne geophysical surveys in order to: β€’complement the acquisition of new airborne geophysical data with data previously acquired by industry; β€’avoid re-surveying areas that may have already been recently surveyed with airborne geophysics; β€’acquire data at a lower cost compared with commissioning new surveys; β€’assist in identifying areas without pre-existing geophysical coverage; and β€’increase our inventory of geophysical coverage in the province.
