Description : The Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services (AFFES) Branch of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry requires freight services in support of fire, aviation, and emergency operations. Freight Services will include the following “Services” for each Dispatch Location: • Service 1 - Dedicated Freight Services; • Service 2 - Trailer Rental Services; and • Service 3 - Fifth Wheel Trailer Hauling Services. In total, there are 3 Dispatch Locations servicing 14 fire management headquarters, 3 attack bases, and numerous other locations within Ontario. The Deliverables will be provided upon the Ministry-s request and will generally be required during, but not limited to, the annual Fire Season which runs from April 1 to October 31. Subject to the Ministry-s reserved rights and the terms and conditions of the RFB, one Contract will be awarded for each Dispatch Location available under the Deliverables as follows: a) Freight Services - Dryden Dispatch Location b) Freight Services - Thunder Bay Dispatch Location c) Freight Services - Sudbury Dispatch Location. Bidders may bid on 1, 2 or all 3 Dispatch Locations.
