Description : Supply and Delivery of One Portable Gas Permeation Air Quality Instrumentation Calibration System Scope of Work The Ministry conducts ambient air quality monitoring at 43 locations across the province (38 AQHI and 5 roadside air monitoring stations). This information is reported 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through the Ministry-s website (www.airqualityontario.com) and is used to issue health-based air quality alerts to notify the public of instances of degrading air quality. The existing permeation calibration systems are over 25 years old and have been decommissioned. The ministry currently uses compressed gases to calibrate its air monitoring instrumentation which has inherent health and safety risks associated with the transport and handling of compressed gases.
