Description : Peterborough Regional Health Centre has received approval to purchase one (1) ophthalmology retinal laser with related accessories and support services (the “Equipment”) to enhance the capabilities of their Ophthalmic Surgery Unit. The hospital currently performs approximately 2,400 laser procedures annually. Scope of Work The intention with this RFP is to award the supply and installation of the Equipment, including all accessories and related support services to a single Preferred Proponent. The Purchaser reserves the right to purchase or not purchase service during the initial term or any applicable extension periods. The Purchaser also reserves the right to purchase a full-service plan or to choose alternative service plan options. The Purchasers are seeking a four (4) year term for the Agreement, with options in favour of the Purchaser(s) to extend the term of the Agreement, on the same terms and conditions, including price, for three (3) additional periods of two (2) years each.
