Description : This is a Request for Bids (RFB) for the provision of full-scope general contractor services (heritage specialty in masonry and metalwork) from start-up through close-out for the Stone Wall Restoration and Repairs Project at Fulford Place in Brockville, Ontario. Scope of Work Due to the current state of disrepair and life-safety, general contractor services (heritage specialty in masonry and metalwork) are required to restore the exterior stone boundary wall (east section) including entry pillars and other masonry repairs at Fulford Place (National Historic Site) in Brockville, Ontario. The general scope of work includes full provisions to conserve / repair and/or rebuild to like-for-like conditions: • Stone entry pillars • Exterior boundary wall (east section) • Cast iron cresting (atop boundary wall) • Miscellaneous repointing Substantial project completion must be fulfilled by June 30, 2023. Therefore, Award of Contract to be completed in a timely fashion.
