Description : Public Health Ontario (PHO) requires an RFB to execute an agreement with a single vendor for the supply of Digital and Liquid-in-Glass Thermometers. The thermometers are intended for use in clinical and environmental microbiology testing areas of laboratories to determine the temperature of incubators, refrigerators, freezers, heat blocks and other equipment. The range of thermometers include the following: Ultra Low Freezer Liquid-in-Glass (-90 to +20oC), Digital (-50 to +70oC), Digital with hygrometer (0 to +50oC), Dry Bath (-10 to 260oC, partial immersion), and Heat Block /Water Bath (-20 to 150oC, partial immersion). Scope of Work The Vendor must supply and deliver the full range of thermometers to eleven laboratory sites across Ontario as and when ordered by individual laboratory sites throughout the duration of the contract. The thermometers must meet all the requirements outlined in this RFB including being serially numbered and being supplied with calibration certificates or documentation showing traceability to NIST or NRC as a minimum, depending on the type of thermometer.
