Description : The objective of this RFB is to execute a contract with up to three legal entities for two (2) firm years plus two (2) optional 1-year terms (total of 4 years) to supply and deliver commercially prepared microbiological media to eleven laboratory sites for use in water testing procedures to support water quality monitoring programs for the Public Health Ontario laboratories. Five types of media are required for supply, with vendors able to bid to supply any number of the media. Media will be evaluated and awarded separately, resulting in up to three successful bidders. The types of media are as follows: 1) DCM Differential Coliform Media 2) BCIG w/o Aniline Blue (m-FC Agar) 3) Standard Methods Agar (SMA) 4) 0.1% Peptone water pH 6.8 99ml and 0.1% Peptone water pH 6.8 9ml 5) Columbia 5% Sheep Blood Agar (BAP) Scope of Work Throughout the life of the contract, the Vendor must provide commercially prepared microbiological media for use in water testing procedures to eleven separate Public Health Ontario laboratory sites on an agreed upon schedule and under stringent quality control and transport conditions.
