Description : The objective is to have efficient and effective grading of Papakomeka Road (aka Pine Street South), during the snow-free and unfrozen periods for the next two (2) years, in accordance with the identified standard, frequency, and schedule. Scope of Work The Work will involve the supply of a motor grader complete with one-way plow and wing and operators to provide twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week coverage to the Ministry for the duration of the Contract. This Work involves grading full-width gravel surfaces to remove or improve deficiencies, including but not limited to the following: potholes, distortions, cuts and gouges, loose rocks, improper cross fall and windrows. The Contractor will be responsible for providing a grader and qualified operator to grade the described portion of Papakomeka Road. “Qualified” means a person that has all appropriate licenses to operate the specified equipment and has operated a similar piece of equipment for grading purposes. The person shall understand and be able to operate the equipment including all apparatus and controls in a safe, efficient and effective manner while completing the Work.
