Description : Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks requires Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) sensors to monitor algal growth in the nearshore environment of the Great Lakes. Scope of Work These PAR sensors are required to capture and quantify the amount of light that can penetrate the benthic zone of the Great Lakes during the spring/summer/fall deployment windows. These requested units will be affixed to underwater moorings, deployed for a duration of 8 months. The PAR sensors require an internal wiper, memory, and battery capable of wiping the face once, per measurement (minimum one measurement every 30 minutes).
