Description : The Ontario Clean Water Agency has issued a Request for Bids (RFB) for the provision of the services required for the supply and installation of safety grating beneath access hatch openings at various water facilities within the Peel Region, ON. A mandatory site visit of the Project Location will be conducted for all Bidders who will be submitting a Bid. Attendance at all visits is mandatory. Bidders who submit a Bid but did not attend all of the visits listed below will be disqualified. Please meet at the Arthur P. Kennedy Water Treatment Plant at 10:00 am on September 23rd, 2021 to begin the tour. The tour will then continue at Lorne Park Water Treatment Plant and then on to the North Brampton Pumping Station. Bidders are to wear masks for the duration of the site visit and comply with all COVID-19 regulations. Bidders are requested to email their intention to attend to the OCWA Representative at least 24 hours prior to the site visit. All Bidders attending visits must provide and wear their own personal protective equipment. Steel toe safety footwear, reflective safety vests, safety glasses and hard hats are required to be worn at the Project Location. Each Bidder is responsible for providing their own safety equipment.
