• Description:
• The Ministry is planning and replacing the existing sand dome and salt storage sheds at the Pontypool Patrol Yard with a larger single material storage building. Also as part of this contract, The Ministry is planning on replacing the existing sand dome at the Lindsay Patrol Yard with a storage shed. The contract shall include an engineered design of the new material storage building. The design is to consider the loading of salt and sand as well as snow, wind and other loading requirements as required. The existing sand and salt storage structures are to be demolished and properly disposed of as part of this contract. Any material used for this project are to be reviewed and approved by the Ministry prior to use. Scope of Work The purpose of this project is to demolish the existing sand and salt storage structures at the Pontypool Patrol Yard and design and construct a new material storage building. As well as demolition of the existing sand dome at the Lindsay Patrol Yard and construct a new storage Optional Site Meeting: March 31, 2026 at 11:00 at the Pontypool Patrol Yard - 3818 Boundary Road, Pontypool (Kawartha Lakes), ON
