- Objective McMaster University is seeking to retain the services of a qualified Project Architect for the supply of professional consulting services for the design and contract administration for the Nuclear Reactor Beam Hall addition.McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of professional consultant services in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP).Bidders must quote the entire bid. Partial bids will not be accepted. Project Summary All recommendations delivered as part of the Nuclear Reactor Beam Hall addition must be aligned with the University-s Sustainable Building Policy and Net Zero Carbon Roadmap targets. For more information, please visit:https://facilities.mcmaster.ca/about/plans-initiatives/To meet the needs and intent of the Project, the successful Proponent will be responsible for the design and contract administration of the Nuclear Reactor Beam Hall addition, which shall include the following components, (refer to Appendix A: Reference Materials for drawings): Relocation of existing Air Liquide central nitrogen storage tank and dispensing station to the southwest corner of the E.T. Clarke Centre (ETC), including capping of nitrogen high- and low-pressure lines, and rerouting of services through ETC.
