Description:
VIA is seeking a professional services expert in human behavioral sciences to assist the management team in performing a complete assessment of its train operations activities and in identifying recommendations and implementing initiatives to improve:-Risk identification and mitigation associated with human factors such as fatigue, lack of focus, multi-tasking, high cognitive loads, complex environments, and unusual circumstances.-Crew Resource Management (CRM).-Occurrence investigation and self-reporting processes with regards to Human Factors.-Training and awareness strategy including content, plan, and effectiveness.-Safety Management System and processes performance and effectiveness.-Safety cultureIn order to be able to submit a Tender, the Tenderer must be able to comply with all the following mandatory criterias:-The team lead must be able to communicate in English or in French.-The Tenderer must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in human behavioral science.-At least one team member assigned to VIA ‘s mandate must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in human behavioral science.-All team members must be able to travel across Canada.-The Tenderer must be able to deliver the reports in English and in French.-All team members must be able to start the services within seven (7) calendar days following the contract signature.
