DESIGN SERVICESE1.1.1 These Terms of Reference are supplemental to the Standard Terms and Conditions of Consultant Services and the "Definition of Standard Consulting Engineering Services" required by the City of Winnipeg.E1.1.2 The consulting services described herein will be provided for theWater and Waste Department (the Department).E1.1.3 The Department will provide assistance towards the following services:(a) Limited provision of non-resident contract administration and inspection services for above.E1.1.4 The following Engineering Services are required for the Construction of FloodControl Gate Chamber at Baldry Creek and Pth100(a) Structural engineering services for the design of the new 3 cell gate chamber, complete with access and equipment hatches and ladders.(b) Appropriately size the gates.(c) Provision of survey services to determine project limits, elevations andlocations.(d) Specifications for new flap and slide gates.(e) Design of slide gate installation in the existing or new reinforced concrete chamber.(f) Design of flap gate installation in the existing or new reinforced concrete chamber.(g) Design of an access box to protect the connection points tothe 3 discharge pipes under PTH100.(h) Ensure that building design complies with the latest edition of the Manitoba Building Code, if required(i) Work with The Province of Manitoba including Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure, to secure any permits and permissions required to complete thework.(j...
