Description:
Edmonton Regional Airports Authority ("Edmonton Airports") invites proposals from qualified companies for a Private Wireless Network (PWN) system, including design, installation, pilot, commissioning, and ongoing managed service, including level 1 3 maintenance support services at the EdmontonInternational Airport ("YEG"). It is Edmonton Airports' preference to utilize the newly available Non-Competitive Local Licensing (NCLL) spectrum; however, augmenting the Private Wireless Network (PWN) with non-NCLL spectrum to support simultaneous 4G/5G and additional capacity to meet the Part 2,Table 1 Use Cases needs may be considered.Project objectives include: Acquire, install and operate all necessary hardware, systems and software and licensing required to make the PWN operational, to include: Assist in submission of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) paperworkto acquire NCLL licensesWork with Edmonton Airports' personnel to identify additional areas of coverage and use cases to be supported through the contract term Provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) upon acceptance of the PWN through the contract term Success Criteria for the project include: The newPWN installation successfully extends the reach of Edmonton Airports' connectivity to cover use cases as defined in, but not limited to, use cases in Table 1, Use Cases, Priorities, and Phasing (refer to table in Part 2 Scope ofServices).
