Description : McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the publishing the McMaster Textbook of Medicine in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.General overview: The McMaster Textbook of Internal Medicine (MTIM) is a long-standing project associated with the Department of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS). The first print edition was launched in 2019, to mark the 50th anniversary of McMaster University-s Michael G. DeGroote School.The McMaster Textbook of Internal Medicine (MTIM; www.mcmastertextbook.com) — a multimedia educational resource — is an ongoing project requiring annual revisions by authors. The MTIM will also be published in various languages. The web-based version was first made available at the end of 2016. A South Asian adaptation of MTIM (South Asian Edition, MTIM-SAE) was launched in 2022. To develop this edition, a network of connections was established to collaborate with, at this stage, over 200 chapter editors from India, Pakistan, and other countries from the region.
