Description:
Northern Health Authority (NHA, Owner) is requesting tenders from qualifiedcontractors for the replacement of major electrical equipment in Electrical Rooms1 and 6, and the subsequent removal of medium voltage equipment from thoseareas.
It is the intent of NHA to engage with the successful Tenderer that provides thebest value to NHA for provision of all required services, equipment, labour, andmaterials for complete project including all required subtrades. This will includeperforming detailed site assessments, shutdown planning, EquipmentReplacement, Construction, Demolition and all work as outlined in this documentand accompanying attachments. As noted, the owner is not obligated to accept thelowest, or any bid. To assist with a determination of value, Contractors areencouraged to include any relevant information which will be useful to NHA in itsreview of submissions. This may include information such as proposed materials,detailed descriptions of the extent of the proposed work, timing of the work,allowances including proposed responsibilities of NHA, costs, and work or otherexpenses not included. The foregoing represents a partial list, and the Contractormay include any information that they deem worthwhile.
The Contractor shall ensure that the finished project meets all applicable coderequirements, as well as the requirements outlined within this package, and on theattached documents.
