Description:
The Prime Design Consultant is expected to provide comprehensive consulting services to support the delivery of the Airport Hangar with Integrated Office Space. The facility will be designed to accommodate the storage and maintenance of both fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft, as described in Appendix E of this RFP, along with adjoining office and support areas intended for emergency services occupancy. This may include engaging specialty consultants as required to ensure the successful execution of the project.The design will be delivered by the Proponent-s Prime Design Consultant (Architect), who will hold a single contract with the Owner to provide a fully integrated package of design services. The Prime Design Consultant will be responsible for coordinating all consultants and subconsultants, and will lead and minute all design meetings throughout all design phases. The Prime Design Consultant is also expected to attend all construction meetings, with appropriate subconsultants participating as needed to ensure effective collaboration and proactive issue resolution. The Prime Design Consultant may be requested to attend adhoc meetings to support timely completion of the work
