Description:
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is seeking to partner with one or more technology solutions vendors to provide computer hardware for a period of up to five years. The RDOS-s intention is to select one or more vendors using this RFP process to evaluate and identify the best vendor(s) to supply its computer hardware requirements. At the beginning of each year, the RDOS will request pricing from the selected vendor(s) and providing the pricing is acceptable, the RDOS will purchase the computer hardware from the vendor(s) for the calendar year and so on. If the updated pricing is not acceptable, the RDOS may then return to the marketplace to seek other vendors, without consequence, of any kind, from the selected vendor(s). The RDOS intends to streamline the purchase of computers, laptops, monitors, network equipment, servers, network storage, communications equipment, and other related technology. A five-year capital replacement cycle on most equipment acquired will be implemented. Respondents are encouraged to use innovation to provide a proposal that meets the needs of the Regional District and adds additional valve to the project.
