BIDDER QUESTION:
Please provide clarification on point 4 under Section 2.2 Contract Requirements.
This point notes that BIANNUAL load safety tests are to be carried out in conjunction with the Dept. of Public Safety. Previous versions of this tender (2015) had indicated that this would be performed every 2 years (biennial). Load testing as required by NB Code is only required as part of Category 5 testing and every 5 years.
- Is this point correct noting that this testing will now need to be done 2 times per year for all devices included in this tender?
DTI RESPONSE:
That requirement should have requested "BIENNIAL" tests (not biannual).
