Description:
The City invites bids from qualified Suppliers for the Preventative and Demand Maintenance services for overhead doors and gates including ice gates, high-speed doors, sectional doors and annual fire doors certification, located in various Facilities within Mississauga, ON.
It is the City-s intent to issue purchase orders up to two (2) Suppliers who will be selected based on best value bids. The City-s overhead doors and gates will be split into North and South regions, and the Supplier will be assigned a respective region to provide Preventative and Demand Maintenance services for their respective region. The City reserves the right to request services from either selected Supplier in the event that service levels laid out in this RFP are not consistently met or services provided are resulting in recurring calls.
The City reserves the right to add or delete Facilities from any of up to the two (2) Suppliers and to transfer facilities as set out in Appendix D - List of Facilities, from one region to another as deemed fit.
It is also the City-s intent to issue two (2) separate Purchase Orders to each Supplier; one for each of the following two (2) City divisions:
Facilities Operations, Energy and Maintenance / Recreation. Fire & Emergency Services.The City wishes to obtain Suppliers that will achieve the following desired result:
Excellent quality of workmanship;Ability to troubleshoot, recommend, and estimate required repairs;Carry out the work in the most efficient, safe, and effective manner with minimal disruption to City programs and patrons;Provide certified professional personnel;Ability to provide timely 24 hours a day service, 365 days per year.
